Combined approach of transnasal and transoral endoscopic surgery in a child with nasal glial heterotopia

Aim of the study: The aim this case report is to outline difficulties associated with managing a child nasal glial heterotopia. Developmental midline mass, especially neurogenic origin, poses great challenge surgeons. Nasal heterotopia among benign congenital tumours aggressive features. Case report: Herein, we 5-month-old infant who presented earlier, at 3 months old, respiratory distress secondary obstructive mass. Result and discussion: Imaging bedside flexible nasopharyngolaryngoscopy showed localised mass no intracranial tumour. Following two combined endoscopic intraoral transnasal tumours, diagnosis was made, patient under surveillance. Conclusion: Multidisciplinary team discussion along transoral approach ought be considered in challenging children.
